To owners of SWBs

My SWB will live outside due to my babies having priority for garage space. Are the new sliding side windows waterproof or will a cover be needed?

Steve I will be investing in a cover as mine will be living outside , but have yet to decide on how much to pay , Geoff .

Mine's kept under a carport most of the time but when it has been outside in the rain I've not noticed a problem.

The occasional drip in when I've driven in heavy rain but nothing to worry about.

Cheers, Bob.

I have a spare car cover (Southampton) if anyone wants to make me an offer.

Of of my SWB's is outside since the build 3 months ago, and here we have the same weather as in the UK, and the windows are OK, just the guttergets full of water and that may give a few drops inside, but nothing serious

Would a couple of holes in the underside drain the water out? are there drainholes in the underside of the GRP doorskins?

Small holes in the gutter might do rhe deal, for sure you need some drainholes in the bottomdoor
