Great job Alex, now enjoy using it. What bonnet hinges did you use ?

Bonnet hinges are boot hinges from an austin Cambridge. They are slightly curved so you have to file bottom flat otherwise they will crack when you tighten them down.

Exhaust back boxes were from turborevs via ebay. Item number 331383507519. £63.97 each and they came with half meter of 2" flexible pipe per box. Fitted a 2" y pipe just before rear diff and replaced cat with a straigh trough pipe. Sounds awesome. Cat wil be put in for mot then changed back again.

Only filed bottom of hinge and then treated area with a little clear enamel so hopefully they won't rust.

Took car for its pre MOT test run today and can just say do not fit bullet mirrors. Look good but totally useless.
New mirrors ordered and will be here Wednesday.
My wife also bought me a little gift a nice new keyring.
