It's tempting....but I guess I should finish the first one.
I do despair at some ads - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Marlin-Roadster-Classic-Sports-Kit-Car-Ford-Pinto-Engine-Unfinished-Project-V5-/331656130567?hash=item4d383ef007
"registered as a 1963 Ford Anglia 1300"....with a 2.0l Pinto and Herald front suspension. The leaf springs and diff look like they might be Anglia but that is about it.......
That car isn't "registered"......the owner just happens to have a V5 for a car that no longer exists.

I agree Oxford. My dad has sent me a few links recently as he is thinking of buying something probably a marlin, many of which are not registered properly, therefore not at all. I think he is starting to think I am making it up as each time I study the ad and say stay clear of it its just a rolling pile of spares. He has been into kit cars since the late seventies when most where on Q plates I will send him a link to this thread then he can read it from some one else. Ed
