Eventually got engine fitted this afternoon. Nearly had a coronary event when chain slipped just as I was lining up engine mounts! Result- one mishapen brake pipe but could have been a hell of a lot worse. I had forgotten just how tight a squeeze it was to fit in. It feels as though I have finally made some real progress, so hopefully I'm on a roll now. Watch this space.
That was lucky! We managed to damage a brake pipe last time we put the engine in too. It moved over to the side and the mount hit the pipe. Not too bad I've got some spare!
At least its in now. It was a good day last time we got our engine in as well
