Which car to buy (not build) to tour Europe?

Hi

This may be out of order here but I don't want to build a car (& I don't have enough skill).
I would like to tour around Europe (2 of us) in a classic looking car but with a modern engine (that can cruise a motorway and that I can afford to put fuel in) and with modern brakes, heating, and comfortable suspension.

After reading various things I have been looking at JBA Falcons and Marlins (a Royale looks good but way too expensive for me).

So from you folk with experience. Any recommendations?

perhaps a better question is

... what should i look for in a kit car in order to tour e.g. what type of suspension?
