Front fogs and angle eyes

26 Dec 2005, 10:02am
Hi guys.

Just thinking ahead. Does the angle eyes have fog lights built in?

Also for SVA, does the front fog lights require a switch like the rears?

Happy Christmas everyone.

Hey John,

No foglights built in...note there are false lens at the top of the lights...you'll see what i mean when you connect them all up...

I didn't fit front fog lights...only the rears...

Hi John.

Are they built into the GTI lights do you know? If there are, do you need a serarate switch for the fronts?

Just thinking while I'm going colour blind with all the wiring. There is no wiring for front fogs in the loom so might run some just in case.

Hope you had a good Christmas.

No front fog's are not a requirement.

I just fancied the idea. Makes better driving in the dark down those wintery country lanes!!

Looked at the way the 206 does it. It has little round ones in the lower bumper.

The 5exi does not have this. But has a space where the mesh grill goes on the spliter. But findiing some driveing lights to fit will need a bit of research.

I rekon with a bit of cutting and fibreglassing the Ford Focus ST fogs may fit in the mesh cut outs... also they're round spots which would match out Angel Eye headlamps

Not paying £100 for a pair though! :horn:
