Introducing NUBODI LTD

27 Apr 2014, 9:37pm
Whilst exhibiting at last years Exeter Kit Car Show I met a guy called Richard Bird, a petrolhead who runs several car related businesses. A deal was done on a Z300S kit and I mentioned that I was thinking about a similar Cobra inspired kit for the Z3, Richard expresses more than a passing interest in this and couldn't wait to see the end result. Fast forward a few month's and a 3.0 Z3 turns up at my workshop for use as the development car for the Kobra Project.

Richard has built quite a few top notch cars in his time and has now comitted to making it more of a full time business by taking on the build service for any finished Tribute Automotive Kobra's under his new company banner of NUBODI LTD.

Here's a few images of how he is progressing on the first build that will be ready for Stoneleigh next week:

More news to follow from NUBODI over the coming weeks.

Hi Hammy

I don't think Richard is fully up to speed yet, website and contact wise, as this is the first Kobra build to be finished, so come and have a chat with him on our stand over the weekend.

I thought that may be the case, I got a mail from Richard last night and a great quote too!

Interested to see he does LPG conversions. My ML430 has an LPG conversion (Bi-Gas?) that needs looking at. Remind me to mention it if we meet at Stoneleigh. I might even be able to share some of my Z300S photos for his website.

The painted Kobra looks excellent. How much do they charge for prep and paint?
