Can anyone help with my suspension problem? (Not me personally) my Porsche covin 911 supersport. It has got spax coilovers on the rear and the springs have snapped the strut/damper twice now which has really piss*d me off. I know the springs were to big for the dampers as in compression terms and that's why they snapped off. Could anyone tell me what size dampers I need and what compression springs I need? The engine is a 1600 VW 1970 beetle.
By the way I'm not a kitcar builder or have any knowledge of cars in anyway so please be reasonable with your response. I have tried my best to explain what I am after and I hope it makes sense.
I have recently bought this car as a small project and I'm determined to learn all about her and I'm looking forward to doing a lot of work myself with professional advice.
