7 Mar 2014, 10:11am
Hi Guys,

I have purchased a part built Lamborghini Countach replica anniversary edition.

The body is almost complete other than the doors need finishing and i need some hinges for them. Can anyony tell me which hinges to use and were I can get them reasonably priced.

I also need wheels, lights and a complete interior. the guy who had it before me has tried to base it on an MR2 which is all getting binned.

If anyone can help me with findind the parts I need please let me know.

Regards

Trappa

Hey Trappa,

Ahh... so you ended up with at one! I saw it on e-bay and was tempted to have a nosey as it was local to me.

All the mechanical bits you need you should be able to source from DC Supercars, http://www.dcsupercars.com/ Give them a ring and talk to Dave Harrison.

Then if you're after any original pars have a look on Eurospares web site (and take out a 2nd mortgage!) http://www.eurospares.co.uk/

Although a lot of the parts were just general bits (i.e. Fiat) and over on LamboReplica we started putting together a list of what was made by whom, so that you could try and source parts cheaper from the likes of e-bay:

Good luck with the rebuild and please post lots of photos as we'd all love to see how it goes :)

Rgds

Dave
Note: Not Harrision, another one. Bizarrely there seem to be a lot of Dave's around the Countach replica scene! :)

Parts

There's 5 stud wheels on eBay at the minute just type 'Lamborghini countach' and then refine search to used in parts and accessories.

Lights- you can use, as many do, a complete capri set up. You'll get the lot off eBay for 50 quid or so.

Interior- two/three choices. Make your own from ply or MSG (or fibreglass if you can) from photos, or contact a replica supplier for one made already. Make sure you're sat down when you make the call.
Thirdly keep an eye on eBay but dashes etc don't come up that often.

I suggest if you can that you come to stoneleigh and look at some of our cars.

Good luck.
