The coating of welding rods takes humidity up out of the air when stored on a open shelf
I remember when I was young, my parents use to have a steel construction company. The welding rods were always stored in a heated cabinet to keep them dry.
:eusa_hand: :eusa_naughty: Obviously don’t put the rods in a micro wave oven, unless you like fireworks now these days around Chritmas.
