Hi Everyone,
As usual I am after more advice from fellow builders.
I would like some perspex side screens on my G46 to keep the draught away in the cold northern climate.
Can someone advise on material and thickness and possible suppliers.
Also is it possible to cut with a jig saw or must it be by hand to stop is cracking?
Many Thanks
HM
you could probably fabricate them with perspex quite easily. I wouldn't use a jigsaw to cut them though, by hand or a small circular saw would be best. You can then use a heat bar or a heat gun to flex it into shape if needed.
As for holding it in place it would be quite easy to cut up some aluminium and bend it into shape ( like an L ) rivet/bolt the sides in, or even make them removable.
