It's a pittie they don't allow owners to go on track. Fancied for a while to try the track.

I was thinking of going up there on the Sunday if I can get the courage to drive my car that far. I have never driven further than 40 miles oin one go yet

If you don't go to sonny, let me know. Try and meet up over the weekend. I know of another 5exi owner that would love to see your car. As he is planning on converting to the T16 turbo over winter.

Hi John, my main reason for wanting to go was to possibly meet up with some other owners and get a few ideas on things like what steering wheel fits, what helmet should I buy for track days e.g. what badges does it have to have to make it legal, how do I know if my turbo is working at the correct pressure , does not seem to be silly fast at the moment etc.

So yes, I would be very interested in meeting up over the weekend

Checked the weather this evening and Saturday is looking wet. Sunday, on the other hand, looks fine with some sunshine . So looks like I'm going on Sunday....be good to see as many exi's and their owners there as possible.
