Have you tried Mark at Southern Triumph Services in Southbourne? He usually has a number of six cylinder engines around.

I have been involved with Triumphs in the Dorset area for many years. If there are any elusive bits you're looking for feel free to give me a shout. I know the whereabouts of a number of potential donors too.

Nope, I'm Jim! A member of the local Triumph Mafia! I've been involved with small-chassis models for years and have friends into them too - we know where they're all lurking! Sorry to thread hijack: did you see the 13/60 DHC advertised on Bournemouth Gumtree this week? Could be a good base.

Cheers mate, i will have a look, and just think of the possiblities, you did mention wheel barrow. Well without that , it would be a deal breaker .

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about your V8 clearance issues.

I thought you might just be able to wheel the engine down the M5 in the 'barrow. After all, it's only 170 miles...

Quite funny that the Herald on ebay has
"been modified at the rear to fit a volvo or simular rear axel for extra torque that will be produced."
And then he goes and fits a type9!
