Hi guys , i am after a good running 2 litre straight six, also a gearbox would be a plus.

So if any of you could help , i dont even mind its in a donor car, or on its own.

Have you tried Mark at Southern Triumph Services in Southbourne? He usually has a number of six cylinder engines around.

I am waiting on costs , and i am sure mark will come up with the goods.

It's a fair way away from you in Kidderminster, but it does come with a free wheelbarrow...

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about your V8 clearance issues.

I thought you might just be able to wheel the engine down the M5 in the 'barrow. After all, it's only 170 miles...

The 3.9 V8 with Type 9 gearbox has to be worth the money alone, while the body panels would fetch most (all?) of it back on ebay.

"been modified at the rear to fit a volvo or simular rear axel for extra torque that will be produced."
And then he goes and fits a type9!
