herald chassis number

hi all ,where have people got the chassis number on the herald chassis?

There isn't one. The commission number is on one of the alloy plates attached to the sides of the front bulkhead. Hope that helps. :)

do the dvla take commision plates now? they must ask for a chassis number on the chassis,

The commission plates are what they check on the rebody inspection. There isn't an actual number anywhere on the chassis, which is why you can't find it.
