A352 Speedster?

10 May 2013, 10:03pm
If I am being totally honest, when I made the the stands on which the A352 mock up shell sat on at Stoneleigh, I made them a bit too short!! But, as often happens, the resulting car looked great

Looking at the shell sitting over the wheels started me thinking. The car can be built and driven like this, if 4" is removed from the sills. The Spitfire bulkhead will need to be section and welded as will the rear bulkhead above the petrol tank, which may need to be moved to a lower position in the boot.

Engine clearance may be a problem, but this can be simply solved by fittting a flat 4 engine from a Subaru. Watch this space..........

Cacking hell. That looks insane.

I always knew these would look better sitting lower on wires, you're making me want one again!

Hi Chris,

I've posted photos of your "slammed" A352 both here & "next door", and it always gets a great reaction...

Thanks Paul, good to meet you at Stoneleigh. I am wondering if can get away with 13" wires as the car is sooooo looooow? It would help to lower it a little more too :whoo:
