Good. Im sure they will be velly nice.
The studs look quite short so I will hold off bonding the inner moulding until then. I think in future Chris is going to do single skin lids from now on, but thicker. I may just glass a wooden frame in or something.

Nick, are you sure about modding the kit, have you done any mods before mate??
My hinges arrived today. Its the second set as DHL lost the first pair.
They took three days from New Deli, India.[IMG][/IMG]
They are reasonably made and finished, but they will need tweaking to make work.
The small end mounting face is bevelled to match the camber of the bonnet. That will need abeveled wedge of rubber to level it up.
the mounting face of the long bit is slightly curved so that will need dressing straight with a file.
Finally the hinge pins are not at 90 degrees to the hinge so I will probably remove the pins and slot the center hole to allow the them to open square. The slot might need tweaking too. Its possible after all this they may need to be rechromed, but I hope not. I still think its worth doing as they are a lovely shape! Oh yes 9" long.

Lovely snow! (Not).
