Hi all,
yes we ordered 2 kits from Chris. one is not enough, hi hi
My best buddy and I want to build two GT250.
He has yesterday a 2001 mx5 nb purchased with 143hp (light blue)
I bought last week a 1998 mx5 1.6.(110 hp)
Now they are ready (maintenance, corrosion protection) and so on.

Today we wanted to eliminate rust.
So far so good. We are now a little closer to the goal, well 1-2%
At the 2002 MX all screws and braces were in good condition.
However, he needs all new disks and pads, the front caliper we have repaired.
Something rust on the metal, not bad, rust removed and repainted, everything goes well. Now all the braces look like new again.

Then it was my turn,
The rear Swaybar looked not extremely bad but the bushings and end links were broke.
The threads of the screws did not look bad but the nuts and bolts could not be unscrewed
My decision: I need new parts!

Our convertible demo car also had a problem with the rear swaybar, bolts had pulled through the rubber bushes All fixed now.

The old Carpet is best protection against cold feet in the garage.

Today it was fuc…. cold, but we made the new Brakes and have screwed the "new" painted parts . In 2 or 3 weeks we will be well prepared for the conversion to the GT250

A 7.5 tonne lorry is huge. Cheapest crossing I found when I moved back to UK was with Norfolk Lines. I think Chris will be best to advise you on the size of truck needed.

A large Mercedes sprinter would do the job surely

To transport 2 kits you will need a van this size:

1500kg high top van, most customers use this size of van for one kit and there is loads of room left.
