Stop turning us builders green with envy. They look great and are an inspiration on cold and wet nights in the garage/workshop.

Cheers Phil, Brockwells did a great job on them with a really fast turn-round time, thanks for the recommendation.

Quick question for you Phil - what filler do you use for the final finishing process before paint? Everything I've tried so far is a bit too coarse, leaving pin-hole voids here and there.

hi dave i use esay sand filler from aj paints in lynn they do a non pin hole filler too i get my paint mixed there too pop in they are very good and have a lot of stock

Will it be road legal or pure race car?

Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing this one progress. Give me a shout if you need a hand shifting stuff, I'm only up the road after all.

As for the motor, I'm sure I've seen a 2500 bored out to 2.7 on triple webers fitted to a Spitfire when I picked up my donor. Worth researching...

Oh, and I love the idea of a black one.
