For Sale :o(

Ok, due to unforseen circumstances (poorly dog and college/university fees amongst other things!) I am selling my Vitesse based Spyder...

Bit of a pain in arse to be honest, but I will probably build another one in a few years time, once all the kids have left home! :whoo:

Anyway, full details of the build are on www.mysammiospyder.co.uk if you want a blow by blow account of the build.

I am currently removing the overspray :icon_razz: and general fettling but it is ready to roll and enjoy!

Up for £7500 but will take a fair offer :phone: 07889 660025

Michael, I think it's to help with the opening of the bonnet or to like how a D24 cuts away underneath. A very smart car.

compliments: this car looks really nice....!!! compared to the other ones actually offered for the same price, that is a bargain!! especially as it is a Vitesse based car!!!

on 1 ebay picture (view from front) it looks like the bonnet (front, bottom) is missing something. did the bonnet came like that or did you cut it?

thanks Micha. :grouphug:

The cut away at the bottom of the bonnet is as Gary says, to allow the bonnet to hinge right forward. I purposely moved the hinges down so the bonnet hinges right out of the way, to give free and easy access to the engine. All the front lights are on plugs and there are just two bolts at the hinge point so the whole bonnet can come off too it need be.

Sad to hear this matey, but needs must!

I just hope this stays in the UK or some others get theirs on the road soon as I'm starting to feel lonely driving mine!

Don't worry Dave, you are not lonely - you are special*

* that's what my Mummy said when I was sad

Good luck with the sale.

Your build thread has been a big help to me.

And the finished photos are always an inspiration.

Take care, Paul. :)
