After a long story, told elsewhere on this Forum, I now have the first pull out of the mould for the MX250 headlight covers. As you can see they still need some work as the lower right side isn't straight enough and they require properly trimming, but it's progress. I will keep you all informed of delivery of the finished items and the price per pair.
They Look good, almost there, probably temp issue on edges cooling faster maybe . Have you decided on fixings! scorpion had a surround, originals had little clips or have you another plan.Your so good with photo shop that if i couldn't see your reflection in lens with camera might have been some doubt! good luck with next batch. If you ever find those covers for seat belts keep safe and can have them when i Order lenses! I remember Polycarbonate/lexan/Plexiglass reacts very badly to acetone, even the fumes. some rustoleum thinners and rust cure prods contain acetone and the wifes varnish remover so keep her away!
Any news on the light covers yet? Love the TVR build by the way.
Hi Dave, revised moulds for covers are done and sitting in the workshop looking at me every day saying "use me, use me", I just need to get my bendy plastic head on and do some. More hours in the day, More hours in the day, More hours in the day, More hours in the day.......
