Second Public Outing - Prom night

29 Jun 2012, 8:20pm
My daughter's prom night tonight and I was honoured that she asked if I would take her to the prom in the Spyder....

We had our picture taken by the official photographer and the local paper, so she might have her picture in the paper too!

Got loads of compliments and comments about the car, much more than the boring limo's that most of them turned up in! :biggrin1:

Was there a prize for the coolest dad?

My girls are currently sleeping, but I'll show them these photos in the morning.

I hope your daughter has a great night.

Take care, Paul. :)

THATS PRETTY COOL TONY ....My daughter used to love all the alternative stuff , I did loads of school runs in various different modifieds , but she got to her teenage years and Dad's silly cars were embarrassing !!

I thought it was pretty generous of you to pay for the smart looking Dude to drive her to the Prom as well.....

Great job Tony, I bet she was pleased as punch.

Once you got there, did you stand expressionless at the door pushing kids away and flatly saying 'No Jeans'?

I scrub up quite well really! :amen:

I took my 12yo step-son across Bournemouth in the car, and it was cool because we got loads of waves and pointed fingers from people out and about - mind you it was Bournemouth on a friday night, so most of them were probably P1ssed! :dizzy:
