This front end idea has been lurking in the back of my mind for a while. It would need to have the rear changed a little also, or maybe not. Mix and match? Your opinions please.
Nice!! ha if you read my reply to your mail in my section you will see i said about a db5 style kit. A total re make of the DB5 would be amazing!! Get one hired and sneak some moulds ha ha ha! I would def buy it.
I think the grille opening is too big but think something along those lines would look good. Aston Martin may have a word to say about it though if you make it look too similar to their design.

Exactly right. That's why I have designed it that way, I don't want to rattle any cages after the B**tl*y saga!
I dont understand the whole thing about replicas and the original builders taking action when theres loads of ferrari exact replicas and lambo replicas etc etc and even more so companys in the states building Bentley replicas that even use the original bentley grill! Is the whole thing a grey area? I meen surely Aston Martin would not pay interest as they are not making money producing the db5 any more for example? I can understand it if the kit copied is a model that is in production though. How do companys like Extreme and FGP etc produce replicas of currently produced cars....even using the same lights etc etc. A freind of mine has a Lambo and he damaged the front bumper twice on the Yorkshire pot holes so bought one from extreme and it fit perfect apart from a few out of sight mounting tweeks.
Certainly a move in the right direction I think, be interesting to see which front end is ordered most. Aston I think. It's is great to be able to watch how a product is developed almost as it happens.
I think both models are excellent, another Forum i'm starting to watch when there is nothing else to read about on the Sammio side. Its very interesting seeing how you form all the parts, it makes you want to go and make something.
i love the new front end Chris
Now all we have to do is to persuade you to fill in the vents and round off the back end and then a DB4 Zagato is mine - well almost
Keep up the good work
Are these fronts going to available to buy as part of a kit?
I have my heart set on getting one of these and the topless rear.
Should look good in black eh???

Yes the new front end is available, there is one waiting in the workshop for the first customer to order it, but it will need a slatted grill insert making, which on my "to do list"
