I can't remember whether the bracket ringed in the photo below bolts to the bulkhead or whether it hung-off the dashboard/column brace that we remove for the Sammio.



With the column bolted to the Sammio frame the bracket (ringed in the photo)is close to the hole in the bulkhead but the angle looks wrong.

Grateful if someone could enlighten me please.

Chris , fit it back to the bulkhead using a piece of tube , stack of washers whatever , as a spacer....you may need to tweak it a little to line up and use a longer bolt.

It is to steady the lower column , as long as it bolts up nice and firm to the bulkhead , it doesn't matter exactly how you do it.....
