I will need to replace the outriggers but was wondering about these bits



They are the same each side and are on the diagonal bits either side of the rear diff.

Ours were exactly the same, good weld on three side no rust top or bottom plate but hole in vertical face.

We cleaned out the whole treated the surface with a rust inhibitor the made up a very 3 sided neat plate cover the face, folded back top and bottom at an angle back to the main chassis rail and then welded it all round, tough simple clean and easy.

Any chance of a photo?

I am thinking of getting a welder to come in and do that and the outriggers
