Has anyone had to fit an accelerator pedal return spring?
If yes, what have you used?
Amongst the many things I found I have to do from just a tentative two mile gentle test drive is a stronger return spring on the accelerator pedal - the revs are two slow to drop off, making gear changes difficult)

My Hunter has the standard Rover V8 return spring on the end of the throttle butterfly (V8 3.9 injection engine). There is no additional spring anywhere. I have often pondered fitting an extra weaker spring set to operate just at the "cruise" position as with such a large engine it's easy to go from 70 to 90 mph http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Hi mike, return spring is needed....I can't remember where I got mine....but I had a notion I had a spare one, and have found it..if you pm your address I will send it to you. Regards Jeremy. I have just checked, and it is from Europa spares,throttle return spring and has picture available.
