I'm trying to fit twin webbers to my pinto engined Tiger, only the inlet manifold that came with it doesn't allow clearance of one of the chassis memebers; like this...

I've been rooting around everywhere to find a manifold that will get the correct spaceout but to no avail. I can't be the first to fit twin 45s to a pinto engined Tiger E1 so does any one have any ideas on where I can get what I looking for?

looks like a bit of cutting is in order, i have a slim fit manifold but even with that on you have no chance with that big filter, but it might work with socks on, mine is like this one below they are available on eBay for about £135 new although i don't have a tiger.

or just cut the side panel and let the filter protrude out of the side like others some times do.

Thanks for that, I'll have a look at it tonight, maybe the slim manifold with shortered trumpets will do the trick.

I can't cut into the side as that's where the main chassis memeber is.

maybe try these guys, they might be able to modify your manifold or build you another to fit
