Back in 1976 during the long hot summers of school (supposed to be revising A Levels!)I built this from a kit. It had a pre crossflow engine, 1500cc I think with an Escort rear axle. Triumph front suspension. Leather seats from a moggie, weber carbs, homemade exhaust system, gearbox from the Ford Corsair, wheels not sure where they came from. Rear luggage cover and roll bar.
It was sensationally quick!
A guy from Oxford bought it, I have a feeling he was something to do with the original design as he knew everything about it and paid a silly price ( nearly £3000 back in 1979!)
Would love to see where it is or even buy it, or one similar.
Anybody know if there is one for sale as I have been looking for literally years.
