Pike Automotive Ltd, 1930s BMW 315 roadster?

Can anyone help!

I have just discovered, and am about to purchase, a replica of what I think is a 1930's BMW 315/1 roadster/sports (but am not sure)

It is complete in that there is a full body with chassis, wheels and loads of parts. The engine is a Pinto and runs, but the whole thing is buried under a pile of garage gubbins. The shape looks like the BMW roadster and the body plates indicate Pike Automotive Ltd with chassis numbers etc

I am told by the present owner that it is a copy an old BMW sports car with only 6 being built (4 going to USA)

I have no idea about this vehicle - manufacturer, history, potential price when completed etc can anyone help?

Hi Brian,
I just came across your post in a Google search. It is over a year old, but if you are still interested, I can give you more information about Pike Automotive.
