I will be there on the monday,(minus the car of course, again!). It would be good to see you guys and your cars, see what you've achieved, get some ideas and encouragement etc. We are making a weekend of it and going to silverstone on the sat/sunday for FIA supercars.
Me too, so long as my painter is finished and the weather at weekends in April is good enough for me to get the car back together in one piece.
I'm just back from a holiday so I need to 'phone the guy to see how he's getting on.....
I've heard a rumour that the MOC will be awarding the Goldfish award this year!
There is also the London-Brighton run at the beginning of June. Anyone planning to sign up this year?

London to Brighton run sounds interesting although I don't suppose Sterling Moss will be starting it this year! Do you know how far in advance that you have to "sign up"?
Ooo err. Weather not looking good for the weekend:

UK Outlook for Saturday 1 May 2010 to Monday 10 May 2010:
May will begin fairly unsettled with outbreaks of rain or showers, however with some drier and brighter weather, especially in the south and west. Temperatures should be near normal or rather cold here. However, in the north and east, rather cold to cold with a chilly north or northwesterly wind, and also seeing a return to overnight frosts and a risk of wintry showers, especially over the hills. From Bank Holiday Monday onwards, it should start to become drier and brighter for southern parts of the U.K., but remaining more unsettled further north with occasional rain. Temperatures should return to near normal for most, or rather warm in the south later in the week. The following weekend may see a return to cooler and more unsettled conditions from the east.
A lot of chaps on the MOC forums are saying that they're off to Stoneliegh on Saturday... But the promo material I've seen for it only states it's open Sunday and Monday.
Is Saturday a special setting up day / not open to the general public? Or is the promo wrong?
Weather doesn't look too bad, but it is changing every hour. Dad & I will be there again this year with his Sportster, as mine isn't yet finished, however that depends on the weather aswell.
Saturday is an arrive & set up day for trade & clubs etc so no general public.
Regardless of the weather I hope to be there on Sunday. The only good thing about not having my Sportster on the road is that the car I use has a roof!
BBC weather just said Monday will now be dry and sunny but wrap up warm - its going to be cold!
The current plan is we'll be driving up late Sunday morning (or later if its chucking it down) and staying overnight so should be around Sunday afternoon and Monday.
Well, it's chucking it down with rain here, but the forecast says clearing south-east and were heading noth-west.
Still got a few jobs left to do on the car this morning (like refitting the hood, bilge pump, etc) so hope to be heading off about midday.
See you all later...
