I don't know anything about this car but found some pictures on Flickr so thought I would share with you guys.
I think I've seen pictures of this car before but not seen under the bonnet before......
looks like an early Ford based chassis (with very high single roll bar?)
BMW engine with triple carbs and coil packs?
Skinny front mudguards
Nice grill surround
Shame about the wing mirrors
I think that car has been at Stoneliegh - I'm sure Patrick took some photos of it. But that's the sort of idea I want - BRG, wooden dash and door caps, moto-lita wheel.
Still toying with the idea of having the nose cone chromed or treated in some way to make it look like polished metal, and then having a black grill with an 8 in white sprayed on it, like the blower Bentley I posted pics of.

This Sportster was built by/for Tim Dutton - and cost a hell of lot!.
I believe Danny Nelson may own it currently, unless he has sold it on. he said it is great fun to drive.
