Trackday for kit cars.

Hi everyone.

Found out that Donny is cancelled again this year.

It seems there is only a 1 maybe 2 at most, track day type events each year for kit cars.

I personally think there should be more. Even if it's not to race on track. A general getting together at one of these events. All different kit cars getting together. I think the kit car arena should be as much a social gathering as much as the cars.

Now somethng like Stoneleigh with a track is a mouthwatering thought!

Well, if Donny gets it's act together and acctualy deliver what they've promised for next year, Silverstone would be available next June / July.

Plenty of parking, plenty of places to camp. And an excellent fast circuit.

Wishfull thinking, but hey, it'd be good... :)

That's a cracking idea. Silverstone. A couple of disposable barbies.

It can be done as Trax is held there every year.

Licking my lips aready!

Any event organisers on here!

Following on from this, does anyone know of any kit car bias speed events (sprints/hill climbs) or racing? I checked out the MSA regs on mine for sprints and it's classed as a "road going sports libre" car so I could be up against ex-F1 cars, space framed pure race cars etc... so could potentially be completly out-classed before I'd even turned a wheel!
