I get the securing to the bumper shafts, but the flat top plate of the number plate holder..does it need trimmed back, and where did builders secure thus to? ..the under side of the nose cone or L-shaped brackets to front cross-member?Ta

I had to trim mine back as I had mounted my horn trumpets in front of the radiator on the cross member (I was keen to get my number plates on after just getting them!)
I think it was designed to fit to the top of the cross member but I do remember it wasn't ovbvious to me either
