Glad I've just found this forum. I went to Autosport at the weekend intending to buy a westfield Ended up however placing an order for a 5exi. I Will be picking the kit up in the the next batch at the End of Feb or early March. Now I'm hunting down a donor car. Really can't wait to start my build...
Welcome Dan and congrats on your purchase. You'll find some very helpful people on the board and some very useful information on the 5exi build from people going through the same experience.
I'm really looking forward to getting started. I'm going with the K series engine so I'm trying to find a 200 Vi donor car at the moment. I'd like to have all the parts ready for when the kit arrives.
I found this site through a link on the Marlin website. I think it was on the news pages.
Ended up however placing an order for a 5exi.
