Hi. I am new to this but I have had a Nimrod kit car for a year now. It is unbuilt so I am after help so I can make a start. Does anyone have a build manual I can copy and how many are there in existence? Also how do I register it when finished without getting a q plate?

Hi Rob,
welcome to the forum and the world of kit car building.
I assume you've seen this thread............? http://www.madabout-kitcars.com/forum/showthread.php?p=10477
The key to avoiding a Q plate is to use all the major components (engine, gearbox, diff, drive shafts, etc etc) from a single donor car which you need to own in the first place.
Hi. Yes seen that thread. Its about the only bit of info I can find on the internet. A workmate said that in all the years he has been going to kitcar shows he has never seen one.
Ah so there is another one out there, all be it in America. Did you build it or did you buy it already done as I could do with a build manual.
Sorry Rob, it is not mine.
The link came up on a car forum that I belong to, I posted it to a friend who is in to kit cars. He had never heard of the Nimrod, did a search and found this thread, so posted the link for info.
Most Americans are very friendly so try contacting the seller and I am sure that he will try to help you if he can.
