hi , are any of you going to the detlling show 12-13 April
i am going to be taking my car , be the first time ive driven my kit to a kit car show being in the kent kit car club i thought i had better take the plunge
i think i will be going there on the sunday most likily see you there hopefully if anyone has a thing for the old school vw air cooled kit cars i will be over in the clubs area ive spent the last few weeks getting the bugs ironed out and getting it running properly having the electrical ignition fail didnt help, so ive gone back to stock ignition now it purrs like a kitten, er, a very loud kitten, or should that be big cat?
I went last year in the car and the heavens opened. It was more like river the M20 coming home!
The weather was quite something last year....although Detling does tend to be blessed with good weather normally, if a little cold.
Tis a nice little show and worth attending if not too far away from you (and if the weather looks ok). If more than 2-3 hours away though I would wait for Stoneleigh.
