EDIT - Title should be SVA Dashboard edge trim - but it seems that you can't edit the title...

What did you guys use for the dashboard lower edge? The SVA manual states a radius of 5mm if using a deformable material - else 19mm. I don't think that the standard "titanfast" edge trim will provide this.

PS - sent of my SVA application yesterday so it's all hands to the pumps now....

edit: not sure where you get the 19mm from - otherwise most current production cars would fail

You have to glue it on.
Your right in thinking the titanfast is too hard.

I also had some pipe insulation covered in black vinyl which was slotted and could be clipped over this stuff as a back up if required but the above was checked and not questioned.

It's 19mm if it is a hard finish - like if you had a wooden dash.

I used pipe insulation foam as found in your local B&Q covered in carpet. It's since been removed after the SVA

Ah, missed that when I looked at my copy - can't you just cover it with a foam backed fabric or as Partrick said, carpet?

Do whats needed to pass the test, then fettle afterwards...
