hi all, i ask a few questions some time ago but due to things beyond my control nowt happen after that, basically i was going to make a car of my own design as even though i like the 7 type cars i wanted something different, now i'm thinking that a 7 type is the way to go for my first build as its tryed and tested, plus once i've done it i can do my own.....
so here is the question i am looking at getting "the book" like i'm guessing so many others before me have done, the ron champion book is quite rare and expensive so i was wondering if the newer book by chris gibb was as good or not.

I've got the book but havn't put anything into practice but what I've read so far its pretty detailed (I've mainly only looked at the chassis build).

Think I got my copy from Play.com for £13 delivered so you're not risking much if it doesn't work out (you could probably sell it on for the same amount)
