fuel lines

I have decided to give myself more work, and standardise all my fuel lines to 8mm, with 8mm fittings at both fuel pumps and swirl pot,due to far to many reducers being used(lucky a local radiator fabrication business does cheap ali welding).Has anyone a simple way of cutting braided fuel lines with ease....I was uttering unrepeatable words at last nites effort!

Metal braided or fabric braided? With just straight rubber fuel hose and the fabric braided stuff, I just used a good sharp pair of scissors.

If it's metal braided, I guess you'd need some heavier shears or something. I cutting with a small hacksaw or a rotary dremel like tool wouldn't be too good as you may end up with a whole load of powdered metal in the pipe.
