It would be nice for all or some of us to get together. Locations and attendance can be confusing. So I've put a map together so a rough location, not exact by post code But by rough location.
Not sure how this is going to work out. Let me know JG if this sounds any good. Maybe if it takes off, include as part of Madabout with the calender. I think I may of posted in the wrong secion as well. Move as you feel fit John.
Either post in this thread a rough location for you or PM me, with or without a photo of your pride and joy. And I'll add you to the map.
Hi chaps feel like an old timer on the forum now. Anyway location Ibstock Leicestershire. Build state................well I thought I was half done. But now, change suspension to new type, change cable to hydraulic clutch, look at MGF gear change. So going very rapidly backwards!

Built and running type R 5Exi... though bodywork still woefully agricultural.
Sorry forgot to add the engine: 1800 VVC K Series. Donny not sure yet. Must be honest I have just side tracked myself at the moment by buying a Triumph Daytona 955i. Absolutely unbelievable. But as it's forecast rain for theweekend then I will see about trying to get the engine started.
I have decided though just to plough on and get the car finished and on the road and then see about doing the mods. I really do wish I had a fellow builder near me for some hands on advise and encouragement.

If you have never used it before, it is very easy.
