Not sure if it's engine/power related, or the settings I have, the shocks set to ( 5 clicks all round so stiff), but going down a bump on the dual carrageway, seems a bit skitish. Legal motorway speed. . Like hang on to the steering wheel, here comes another bump!
Have updated new updated rear suspension so rear bump steer should not be a problem. Think it may be front end to light. Not sure.
I'm using the standard Marlin Gaz shocks with Marlin supplied poly bushes on the wishbones.
Skittish is maybe a wrong way of describing it. At speed, the car feels a bit light. Say at 90 (not that I do these speeds on the road!), car feels a bit light and disconcerting as well. Tyres are 17PSI as I thought it could be this.
Ah I know what you mean, I had the front tyre pressures higher than normal for SVA. After dropping them the car felt much more solid. However it doesn't auto centre properly now so I think I need to fiddle with the toe settings.
Yes i know what you mean - i've put it down to the front of the car being light and the steering also being very light. I've got used to it now and it doesn't really bother me.

I believed that its Caster i.e. the angle between the centre line between the top and bottom suspension pickups and the vertical through the middle of the wheel, that will deliver auto centre not toe adjustment.
I do not believe that toe adjustments will deliver auto centre without introducing other undesirable issues.
Ok, its a bit odd it auto centres going back wards, but not forwards. I don't to know enough about suspension and steering! I've got room to add a little more caster. I've been recommend to run toe at 0 but not had time to pop by a tyre place and get it done properly.
Patrick, sounds like you've got the caster the wrong way in that case. You just packing out the ends of the wishbones to change it? if so move your packers to the other end and then try it.
