Hi All
Just in the process of fitting the 'optional' 3 panels for the front: one each side that the wishbones poke out through and the tray under the radiator/fuel tank.
The panels I have have hole positions marked out (but they appear to be in the wrong places).
Does anyone have photos of these panels on their car? It would appear that the folded edge of the tray fits along the bottom edge of the side panels, but does this bottom edge run along the bottom (angled) chassis tubes or below it? I don't won't to end up blocking off some of the airflow to the radiator!
Thanks
Slightly off-topic but... When looking at the Honda demonstrator the other day I notice they have used corrigated plastic instead of Ali for the 3 panels, and they are just attached with cable clips.
Wow - thanks for such a fast response guys.
I'm glad it wasn't me getting things wrong: the markings from Marlin are completely out. I ended up measuring the positions of the brackets and drawing them in a CAD package, then cutting a card template out on a laser cutter (unfortunately it's only powerful enough to cut card and plastic, not metal, and not quite big enough for the whole panel). Anyway card template fitted a treat so used that to mark out panel again and made it from that. The undertray I'll make from scratch as the Marlin one is quite a way out.
How accurate is the chassis bracketing? My last kit had a 'slight' discrepancy between the suspension brackets on each side. Can I assume that the same patern will do to make the panel on both sides?
