tube notcher options

Hi, there seems to be many ways of notching round and square ERW and CDS tube for chassis construction etc. 90 degrees or at angles.

1. manual, with saw and file.

2. manual, using a PC available program printable tube end templates.

3. motor driven rotataing abrasive belts, or in a drill chuck.

4. motor driven cutting tool on cam to follow contour.

5. motor driven using adjustable vice and rotating tube cutter.

6. laser cutting of tube ends (which I have used).

7. what I am looking for, a motor driven press tool notcher.

8. lever action press tool notcher.

I have seen an (old) industrial press notcher in action and have wanted one ever since. Since reading your posting I have found a manual lever punch tool notcher which looks interesting (8):

Good luck with your search.
