Well I have ordered all the parts today for my new exhaust system which i am going to attempt to fab myself....gone for 3" straight through with stainless steel 200 cell free flow cat. All in prep for supercharger

My only concern is how loud it will be for sva but I guess I will find out soon enough

Not too up on exhausts. But your going to have some type of siliencer are you not? If it's too loud, is it not just a matter of adding a bit more woding (can't think of it's name) to the silencer for the SVA?

I have nearly finished my new exhaust system and am extremly pleased with how it has turned out!

I have however had to make some chassis cuts/ mods to accomodate what I wanted. If anyone is interested I will post pics up

As long as it's below 101DB it should be fine. Just don't rev past 4000 RPM.

if you declare the type-r as per the Civic's power claims, the static noise test is at ~5500 rpm.

the exhaust in progress chassis chopped, regarding noise it is louder with the 3" straight through and has a habit of making loud bangs on overrun


Rear hangers also had to be chopped off an new ones put in place

Exhaust top mounts may have to be reworked if its rattles to much through the chassis
