Suspension

This might sound silly, but I know a few have had problems with the wishbones touching the springs at the front.

Am I correct thinking the heavier duty shock/spring goes on the front?

What is the right way up?

Just making sure before I get on to 'sorting' the problem.

Hi

I believe on mine the rears were the 400`s and fronts 170`s, certainly the lighter weight was front. Mark suggested that I to use heavier springs myself and limpabit, as with Dylon as well I think we all have used 225`s front.

In the matter of the correct way up, cant help there, I just fitted them.

The issue with the springs rubbing seem to be in the batch made early 2006, Marlin supplied correctly made replacements, and used the returned ones on the rear I believe.

Has everyone fitted the heavier duty springs to the rear?

The heavier spring do go at the back
Due to the fact that there is more weight at the rear
As for the shock/springs the dampening adjuster is at the top
As for the spring rubbing i hade that problem and had to send my upper arms back
You will also need to send the upper ball joints back as marlin have used two differant threads

I had the wishbones problem too. Apparently I was sent incomplete rears, rather than fronts. I never sent my first pair back.
