SVA time will be soon, I've just finished filling in the form!
Who you using for insurance? I was going to look at footman james and adiran flux as they advertise in the Marlin owners club mag. Any other suggestions?
I use Adrian Flux
They were very helpfull as soon as the car was able to be driven i insured it against fire/theft and then they upped the cover to fully comp when i went for SVA.
I used Flux for the build up policy, but found that Footman were better on price for the road going policy, also they provide free breakdown cover, although Flux may provide other benifits.
I got quoted just over 300 from Footman James, and 275 from Adrian flux with 5000 - 6000 miles - probably won't do anywhere near that Neither will insure Richard until he's 25 - luckily that's only 1 year away!
I tried Backford Bloor & Co too as they are in the owners club but I would have needed to take out a build insurance first get a cover note for SVA then switch to full insurance which on 3k miles was nearly £400.
Adrian Flux & Footman would both insure on the chassis number for up to 30 days for SVA (and MOT presumably!).
Adiran flux didn't seem to worried about engine mods, just need to let them know what's been done.
