Axel Design weights

Just going through the SVA1 form, for those that have passed what values did you use on the weights? I've got some from Terry but seem to remember them being incorrect for someone with an E30 Sportster :)

I'd give Simon at Marlin a call, as their last customer car (the red one) was a e30 325i car, so he should know.
And don't forget to 'wind' up your front suspension to get the headlights to the SVA required minimum height!

Here is what i entered on my form as supplied from Terry.

Axle1 500 kg
Axle2 550 kg
Gross 1050 kg

The weights measured with a full tank of fuel and no one in the car at the SVA were:
Front = 380kg
Rear = 460kg

If i remember correctly its only a failure if the weights are actually higher than what you enter on the form.

Stuart, what did you put down as your max power engine speed for the M20 2.5 on the SVA1 form? I know the noise test is done based on this. The 1988 E30 sales brochure seems to suggest it's 5800rpm

EDIT 2/3's of 5800 is 3866 so I think that's actually a reasonable test speed. Will put that down.

Yes i put 5800 rpm and my car was tested at 4000 rpm.
