Hi All,
Looking to replace the ugly Rover steering wheel with something a little better looking - what have other people gone for and what boss adapter do i need.

You need the standard Rover 200 Boss. I went for a Momo Millenium. Have not fitted it because I have changed my mine. I think. The steering wheel is very hard to hold. Not the leathery fell. If you get my meaning.

Have you got sva yet, if not, can I suggest that you use the standard non airbag rover wheel to avoid any issues. One of the chaps failed sva useing an mgf gear nob, shows how picky they can be.

I have not explored a new wheel yet, so would welcome any feedback.

SVA - done and dusted. I like the look of the Richbrook R1 wheel it's really the boss that i'm not sure of.

I spent £12 on fleabay for a Rover 200/400 boss.

It fits both column and wheel perfectly.

As long as it is correct for the column, you shouldn't have any issues.

Mike,

You can always buy a quick release wheel, (it looks good) and then weld a boss onto the column, this is what I am doing so we can have a sparco wheel.

On the other hand Mono and Omp do rover boss kits but not aware of any others that are out there.

Mine will have a momo boss and issota steering wheel for after the sva
I am also fitting a pop off kit so that getting in and out will be easy
