Hi All,
Just wondering what you've used for a gearstick gaiter?

From memory, the chap that built the 'Which Kit' yellow car, used a gaitor from an old RWD Ford? Escort I think.

Used the Rover 200 gaitor cut down...works well and looks loads better than a driveshaft boot!

Ok I know this thread is a year out of date but I thought I had better start posting on this forum.

I borrowed Mumsie's sewing machine, bought some leatherette off eBay and using the donor gator as a template I made my own.. all fingers still intact and everything!

Used a Cavalier handbrake gator as a template and made one of them aswell

Good Job! would be better with a diff gearknob though!

I took the easy route after the centre console and just bought generic gaiters!

Respect for using cream seats in a roadster!

Here is mine

Yes! That centre console looks awesome.

Yeah have since changed me Rover knob to a chrome one. I looked everywhere for a brushed or spun effect aluminium knob but with no luck... where did you find yours???

Just a thought, maybe worth keeping as much Rover parts until SVA, or whatever it is now.

Like the colour scheme.
