Does anyone know what size of thread it is for the rear anchor point behind the seats (floor level)

i've got an array of bolts - will try a few later.

What mechanism have you bought? Does it work with the lotus belt latch?

John as I got the latches with the seats and they look good I decided to buy some elise belts to go with them looks so much better than them huge storks fitted to the centre tunnel

well it's not m10, and I couldn't get m12 x 1.75 or 1.25 to take. However my threads, undoubtebly like yours, are packed full of powder coat, and I've only got an m12 x 1.75 tap which I was reluctant to try in case I knackered the threads. Threads are so full of plastic i couldn't reliably use my thread measure either.

Apparantly, old fashioned paint stripper softens powder coat?

Might be worth a try?

Craig

I have not measured the thread, but the original seat belt mouting bolts are the same, I intended to use them to hold my belts in place.

I too had the same issue with the powder coating, just kept screwing them in and out with some oil.

Hi steve when you say original bolts what do you mean?
I did not get any bolts supplied!

Steve means the orginal bolts from the Rover.

I have them but did not need them. I got the correct ones with the seat beats (supplied by Marlin). Your more than welcome to have them (they have a T50 head on the and not sure where you would get the tool for them.I borrowed one from my friendly knackers yard.) But for the SVA, appartently they need to be special bolts. The bolts I got supplied have a little symbol on them.

Hi John, I have managed to get the lotus bolt in but there is no symbol on it just a normal bolt......
