Does anybody know what is the maximum tyre widths that will fit under the front and rear wings of the Sportster?
Did anyone spot what size tyres were fitted to the Marlin built cars. I can see from my photo's that they are Toyo Proxes, but I can't read the actual tyre size.
I've had a look through the pictures I've got of the purple one. I can't make out any writing on the tyres but just from looking at the photo's i would estimate 225/45/R17 all round on the purple one. Possibly 205 wide.
I don't have any pictures that show the tyre size on the red customer car they had a Stoneleigh.
Off topic but your M20B20 would make a great base for a 2.7 conversion you can use the 2ltr head with an ETA block Dunno how your German is but theres lot of info here: http://truemer.cfmx.de/rubrik.cfm?cid=10 and lots if you search on www.e30zone.co.uk (you can also get a chip from Ant for 2.7 conversions which saves buggering around with stand alone management
